Doing the Right Thing
In 2013, Mondelēz Egypt Foods launched a national project under the auspices of the Ministry of Agriculture and implemented by the ‘CARE’ organization named ‘Our Children’s Wheat’ which serves to increase wheat yields by 10% (in the pilot phase) in five governorates. The project was kicked off with employees volunteering to help drive project execution. The project duration was 3 years, with a budget of over 4 Million Egyptian Pounds. The first and second year results exceeded the 10% target, reaching 15% for the third year.
